About the Committee

To address concerns and ensure a healthy school environment, ARLM Vidyalayam – Cuddalore-01 has formed a Grievance Redressal Committee under the guidance of the Principal. This committee is responsible for reviewing and resolving complaints received from students, parents, and staff members. It also deals with issues related to harassment.

Any individual with a legitimate concern is encouraged to meet the Principal directly or submit their grievance in writing to the Grievance Cell. All complaints will be handled with attention and confidentiality.

The committee is committed to take timely action on each complaint. However, if a complaint is found to be baseless or made with dishonest intent, suitable disciplinary measures may be taken against the complainant.

The key goal of the Grievance Cell is to promote a sense of responsibility and cooperation among all stakeholders, creating a positive and supportive school atmosphere.

The well-being—both physical and mental—of our students is our top priority, and their rights and safety are central to our educational approach.

About the Committee

At ARLM Vidyalayam, we are committed to provide a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all our students, staff, and stakeholders. To uphold this, we have formed a Committee Against Sexual Harassment (CASH) as per guidelines to address any grievances related to sexual harassment. The committee ensures confidentiality, fairness, and timely resolution of all reported issues.

Procedure to Lodge a Complaint

Any student, staff, or parent can report an incident of sexual harassment to any committee member:

• In person or through a written complaint
• Complaints can also be submitted confidentially in the suggestion/complaint box placed near the Principal's office
• The committee will acknowledge the complaint within 3 working days
• Inquiry will be initiated within 7 working days

Disciplinary Action

If the committee finds the accused guilty after a fair and thorough inquiry, the following actions may be taken based on the severity of the offense:

• Verbal or written warning
• Suspension from school or duties
• Expulsion or termination in extreme cases
• Counseling or community service recommendations

All actions will be taken in accordance with school rules and relevant legal provisions.

About the Committee

To ensure a secure, safe, and protective environment for students, staff, and visitors, the School Safety and Security Committee is constituted in accordance with educational board guidelines. The committee is entrusted with the responsibility of monitoring, implementing, and maintaining safety measures in the school campus.
